Purity is a student of Jenis Royal Academy who studies Humanities.
As a student of Mister Ratio's class, she participates in the class' festival activity that involved changing their classroom into a tea house. One of her classmates, Kaden, worked for days on end to sew together several sets of maid clothing and Purity's one of the girls who end up putting one on and serving the guests, much to her initial embarrassment though she does get a little more comfortable later on. In addition, while she isn't part of the school play's cast, she has worked hard on the sets that were used in the performance and seems to have been involved in the production enough to know Estelle by name despite not having been in the same class as her.
After the festival finishes, she joins the rest of the students in the auditorium to kick back and relax.
Purity doesn't seem to be a member of any club and is often found in her dorm room. She's a rather bookish person with a large amount of knowledge about history who's studying humanities for the purpose of becoming a writer one day. After the end of the festival, she starts taking the first few steps towards achieving her dream. When Estelle talks to her right before their trip to Zeiss, Purity mentions having started writing a novel and doing lots of reading in order to gain inspiration. She then gives Estelle Carnelia Chapter 6 as an example of one of the books that inspired her.
Her Japanese name is パープル (paapuru = "Purple"), which is why for the Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake the English name was changed to the more fitting "Violet".
