Yuriel is an inhabitant of the town of Zeiss.
She's a young girl living next to Tita and Professor Russell in the southern part of town together with her older sister Louise. She and Tita appear to be on good terms and Yuriel likes to remind Tita to attend Sunday School from time to time, since Tita's absent so often she even forgets when classes are even held.
Yuriel has a rather bratty personality and she has frequent fights with Louise about the latter's neglect of the house, making Louise wish she had a girl like Tita as a sister instead. Yuriel insists that Louise is lazy and likes to nag her about cleaning up their home. While Louise does tend to neglect everything that's not work-related very frequently, the truth is that Yuriel herself is a lot lazier than her sister since she herself doesn't do any chores around the house either, usually delegating them to Ursus if she can't make Louise do them. In fact, she complains about one of her sister's book lying on her bed, which makes sleeping uncomfortable, but doesn't make the effort to put the book away herself.
Relations
Yuriel is the younger sister of Louise.
She attends Sunday School together with Vince, Didi, Knowles, Muriel and (very rarely) Tita.
