Vince is an inhabitant of the town of Zeiss.
He's the son of the man who owns the local weapon shop and lives in a house in the northern part of the city block together with his parents.
He's first seen shopping for flowers with his mother at Irene's flower stand, something that annoys him a bit since he feels their veranda already has plenty of flowers.
When the Zeiss Central Factory is attacked, Vince is still waiting near the church for his mother to pick him up from his Sunday School session. He sees the attackers dressed in Royal Guard uniforms rush past him and later rues the fact he didn't have an orbal camera with him to take a picture.
Vince has a rather fussy personality, but he's extremely intelligent. After the black orbment causes a city-wide blackout, Vince is fascinated rather than alarmed by the incident and professes the wish to research it using books from the factory's archives. After a visit from Karl, who frequently meets with his father due to Karl being an orbal engineer developing weapons and Vince's father Stain owning a weapon shop, Vince mentions being inspired by Karl and wanting to become a scientist himself when he gets older.
In addition to being intelligent, Vince is also a lot more insightful than his mother. As soon as he sees smoke coming from the Central Factory, he mentions that this isn't smoke from a fire and wonders what's up. When the kidnappers rush past him while dressed as Royal Guards, he quickly deduces that they're probably involved in the incident somehow and when his mother is worrying about the Royal Guardsmen having attacked the factory, Vince is quick to point out to her that the men were dressed as guardsmen, but they might not necessarily be part of the Royal Guard. He also reminds his worrying mother that just because they're not hearing anything from the Bracer Guild or the army doesn't mean they're not working on the case.
For all his intelligence, Vince is not a particularly diligent student. He frequently skips Sunday School classes and actually snuck out to check out the racket caused by the attack on the Central Factory and often gets scolded by his mother for playing hooky. Vince explains his truancy as simply not being able to focus on one thing for an extended amount of time and mentions that if he'd make it to the position of scientist, he'd probably have to take on multiple projects in order to keep his attention span from wandering.

Vince is the son of Mister Stain and Elise.
He attends Sunday School together with Yuriel, Didi, Knowles, Muriel and (very rarely) Tita.
