Mina is a young girl living in the city of Bose.
She's usually found hanging out on the street outside the city's marketplace together with her friend Harry. Harry has big dreams of becoming a merchant some day, but Mina is either more realistic or more cynical and likes to remind him that with his lack of skill in arithmetic, a career as a trader will be difficult and that even if he becomes a merchant, he's not guaranteed to strike it big and live in a big house. While her harsh words hurt him, Harry doesn't give up on his dreams, however, and Mina eventually voices reluctant support for him.
As far as her own future is concerned, she mentions wanting to marry a rich man someday.
