Tom is an inhabitant of the town of Grancel.
He's the co-owner of Wingard Orbal Factory located in the southern block of the royal city.
Tom started and owns the orbal factory together with his childhood friend Zacharias, with the former handling the repairs and maintenance while the latter is responsible for the storefront and sales.
While Tom and his colleague Zacharias are supposedly childhood friends and buddies, it's hard to believe they get along well, since their personalities are almost complete opposites and they see eye-to-eye on very few things. While Zacharias is a very self-centered person who closes up shop in order to go and watch the fighting tournament and whose only concern in the business is the mira it generates, Tom is a hard and diligent worker who values serving his customers, has no issues to put in overtime if someone needs an emergency repair job and refrains from attending the martial arts competition to finish his chores despite the fact he'd have liked to see the matches. For him, the biggest satisfaction he gets out of his work is seeing the customers' happy faces when he fixes orbments that were broken before. He even repairs orbments that weren't bought at his own orbal factory.
Tom's tendency of putting in extra hours and never taking a break until every bit of work he has left is finished means he doesn't really get out much and as such misses most of the political unrest in Grancel until it's over.

Tom is a childhood friend and colleague of Zacharias.
