Sima is an inhabitant of the village of Elmo.
He's the owner of the Autumn Souvenirs Store located near the village entrance where he lives together with his son Quantay. Sima's wife whom he met when he was about the age his son is now. Unfortunately, she died some time ago, but apparantly Quantay has his mother's light-hearted personality, so part of her is still alive in the household.
While Autumn Souvenirs is primarily a souvenirs shop, whose most noteworthy products are Eastern pottery and spring-boiled eggs, but because the store is also the only real shop in the village, Sima also tries to keep some day-to-day goods stored to sell to his neighbors.
Despite being the owner of the only shop in the village, Sima isn't really much of a salesman himself. While he often encourages people entering the store to buy something, he also often asks his son to spread the word and invite visitors who are new in town to the store, something Quantay finds annoying. Sima also tends to get a little grouchy when people enter his store just before it's time to close up, instead of welcoming the extra sales.
