Renzo, a NPC met in Ruan

Renzo is an inhabitant of the town of Ruan.

He's a sailor living in the northern section of town together with his wife and son. He's old enough to remember when Ruan was filled with nothing but sailors and fishermen, all of them making their living at and off the sea. He didn't get good grades at school when he was young, but he's nevertheless happy with his job and takes pride in it. He'd like his son to be a fisherman or sailor too, or (as he calls it) make a living like a real man, but in the end he feels that he'd support him whatever it'd be that he'd end up doing, as long as it made a decent living.

For all his talk about real men, it's actually his strong-willed wife who wears the pants in their marriage and he can't really bring himself to speak up against her strong desire to have their son enroll in the academy.
