Constance is an inhabitant of the town of Zeiss.
She works as the person in charge of the Zeiss Central Factory's archives, essentially making her the company's librarian. Constance's job isn't always a particularly easy one as she has to deal with both missing books and quirky colleagues, the former sometimes a direct result of the latter. Sometimes her co-workers merely forget to return the books in time and said books can be found around the factory, but sometimes the books are actively hidden with riddles being left that give hints to their whereabouts.
Fed up with tracking down her books herself, Constance puts in a request with the Bracer Guild and hires Estelle and Joshua as temporary librarians who end up searching the factory and then the Zeiss region in search of the missing books.
One thing Constances dislikes more than missing books is her colleague Igor's presence, whose tendencies of reading out loud and complaining to her that she doesn't keep things in order well enough she finds insufferable.
Like all the other factory employees, Constance has to evacuate when the Intelligence Division sets off smoke canisters throughout the building and mentions she hasn't ran this fast in a long time. After the smoke is cleared, most employees get back to work that very same day, but Constance finds the lingering smell of the smoke canisters permeating the entire building to be intolerable and after retreating to the factory roof to get some fresh air, she decides to call it quits for that day, much to Igor's chagrin.
Constance is one of the employees who isn't kept in the loop about the mission to rescue Professor Russell orchestrated by the Bracer Guild and the Zeiss Central Factory's senior staff and as such, she's left wondering why the higher-ups are suddenly so active in the aftermath of the attack on the factory. Comments from several people suggest Constance isn't the most diligent of workers and that her disorganizedness is the reason behind the archives not being in proper order yet.
