Chaeli is an inhabitant of the town of Grancel.
She's the store clerk working at Weis Arms & Guards located in the southern section of the royal city. Since her husband is rather shy and gets nervous when having to interact with people, she's the one taking care of selling the goods while he deals with stocking and inventory.
A weapon shop like theirs always gets extremely busy during the days of the martial arts competition as entrants of all kinds come to get the latest in weaponry. This year, Chaeli was baffled when soldiers brought people in handcuffs to their store to buy weapons, noting afterwards that soldiers ought to get weapons away from criminals rather than help them buy them. The people in question were, of course, the Capua siblings who were invited to participate in the martial arts competition.
As Estelle and her team start racking up wins in the competition, Chaeli picks up news on them and becomes a huge fan of their team, asking all of them for autographs when they drop by the store and promising to cheer on them. During the finals, Chaeli and her husband close the shop to go and watch the match in person.
Like many people in Grancel, Chaeli had difficulty believing that the Royal Guards turned terrorist after they were branded for treason, as the guards' sub-commander was a regular customer of theirs and he always showed concern about the Queen. Chaeli is very relieved when the coup is thwarted, mentioning both the Queen and the princess looked radiant during the Queen's speech.
