Miner Landan is a miner working in the Malga Mine north of Estelle's hometown of Rolent.
Unlike his colleagues, his job isn't to mine Septium, but to guard the entrance. If you visit the Malga Mine with Mayor Klaus' letter with you, he'll let you through and tells you to go and find the miner chief. If you don't talk to the Mayor before heading for the mine, he'll just turn Estelle and Joshua away.
Strangely enough, he wasn't guarding the entrance when the "miner-in-training" (aka Lyall the sky bandit) ran out of the mine. It's likely he noticed the cave-in and went inside to help.
Relations
Miner Landan is the subordinate of Mister Gaton.
He is also the colleague of Miner Bones, Miner Miles, Miner Pierre, Miner Heinrich and Miner Trent.
