Fritz is an inhabitant of the town of Grancel.
He works at the Roenbaum Hotel in the northern section of the royal city, which is the largest hotel in the country.
Like many businesses in town, the hotel always gets a lot of patronage each year around the time of the martial arts competition and the birthday celebration, with both participants to the tournament and tourists alike staying there. Among the people staying there are several people that the player has encountered in other chapters, as well as fellow-bracers Kurt and Anelace.
After Elnan from the Grancel Bracer Guild agrees to let Estelle and Joshua participate in the martial arts tournament, he contacts Fritz to make a reservation and when Estelle and Joshua arrive at the hotel later that evening, he welcomes them and gives them the key to their room after confirming their identities. Whenever Estelle and Joshua leave the hotel each morning, Fritz wishes them good luck in their match that day.
As the security in the capital is ramped up, Fritz receives notice that a curfew is instated and hotel guests shouldn't leave the building after 9 o' clock, which he mentions to his guests as they arrive.
After Estelle and Joshua win the championship, they drop by the Roenbaum to let Fritz know that they'll be spending the night elsewhere, though he mentions that Elnan already called him up to break the news. He wishes them a pleasant stay at the castle before they head there.
Fritz is on duty as usual while Estelle, Joshua and Zin are searching the city for their fellow bracers in preparation for their attempt to rescue Princess Klaudia. He mentions that Kurt is in currently in his room, noting that the senior bracer looks rather unwell. (due to the after effects of the mental manipulation he was subjected to) Fortunately, the next time Fritz sees him (after having spoken to Estelle, Joshua and Zin), Kurt looks a lot better.
During the birthday celebration, Fritz is on duty as usual and talks about how the hotel has more guests than ever during this event.
