에피소드/재회 - 소녀의 우울

A Maiden's Melancholy (再会～乙女の憂鬱～) is a Daydream in 영웅전설 시작의 궤적. Its events take place prior to the main story.

Synopsis

The episode begins with an intruder breaking into the Railway Military Police headquarters and escaping by unknown means.

Claire Rieveldt is ridden with guilt from her past actions - putting her family in chaos by unravelling her uncle's plot, participating in the Great War despite her beliefs and watching Millium Orion die at the Gral of Erebos. She states that she does not expect to be forgiven, but vows to fix the problems she caused.

In Heimdallr, Claire takes out a photo just as she spots Sara Valestein and Sharon Kreuger walking out. Claire apologizes for calling the two on short notice. She informs them that a few days ago, an intruder snuck into the RMP headquarters and stole classified information regarding the weapons from Crossbell. Sara initially suspects Bleublanc, but Sharon states that Ouroboros activity in the capital is unlikely. She then wonders if Hercules members had done so, but Claire tells her that the technology used by the intruder far surpasses the RAMDA orbments. As the three women talk, another one watches them from a distance.

The three walk around the city to gather information, eventually finding an underground passageway with eyewitness testimony. The woman from before then walks in and reveals herself as Michael Irving's sister, Isara Irving. Isara remarks about Claire's current situation and tells her not to let Emil down before leaving. Sara and Sharon question Claire about her. Claire suspects that Isara still holds a grudge against her for destroying the family. The two notice that she is still feeling guilt from her actions. Sara states that she will help her if she needs it, and Claire concludes that she should start anew once more.

While they talk, Michael calls Claire and tells her to head to the Leica District. Earlier, Isara was finishing up a deal with Morgan just as it began raining. Isara spots a cloaked man and calls her brother, begging him to help before the man subdues her. Based on the clues, the three women realize that the man's hideout is in the Imperial Museum, using an underground passageway there to the Underground Crypt where Zoro-Agruga was found.

Inside, they find the cloaked man and manage to subdue him after a lengthy fight. The man mulls over Sharon's strength as a survivor of the Order of the Moonlight Horse. Satisfied with the diversion, he manages to escape. Claire rushes to Isara and they bring her back aboveground.

The following day, Michael thanks the three for saving his sister and resolving the RMP crisis. Claire asks Isara to watch over her. As the three women leave, Isara tells Michael that she'll take the case he gave her on, expressing a desire to see the Thors that changed her cousin.
