Laone, a NPC met in Grancel

Laone is an inhabitant of the town of Grancel.

He's usually found walking the streets of the eastern section of the royal city. Like many of his fellow citizens keeping up with the news, he's upset about the attack on Central Factory and notes that launching the attack during the preparations for the Birthday Celebration is particularly disrespectful to the country.

Laone, like many people in Grancel, isn't particularly trusting of the special ops soldiers, likening calling them stormtroopers whom he didn't even know were employed by the army. He has a lot more trust in the Royal Guard, particularly Lieutenant Schwarz, whom he frequently saw at the church and whom he recalls would often patrol the eastern city block and even make small talk with him from time to time, even asking him about his sore back.

As such, he's delighted when the Intelligence Division's coup is thwarted, proudly stating he always had faith in the Royal Guardsmen.
