Martina, a NPC met in Zeiss

Martina is an inhabitant of the town of Zeiss.

She's the owner of the Zahnrad Hotel in the southern part of the city. The Zahnrad Hotel is one of the most storied hotels in the country and Martina's family has been running it for over 6 generations. In addition to being one of the oldest hotels in the country, the hotel also has the honor of being Liberl's first hotel with orbal lights in all guestrooms; a perk of running a business in the very city where orbal technology was first introduced (although this briefly backfires when the black orbment causes a city-wide blackout, much to Martina's frustration).

There are disadvantages to living in Zeiss though, at least in Martina's opinion. Even though she's originally from Zeiss herself, she has difficulty dealing with the rest of the townfolk. She believes people from Zeiss are too serious and work-oriented and unable to just be casual, making them less than suitable for jobs like dealing with hotel guests. Martina's employee Emma, who works as a maid in the hotel, is pretty much the ultimate personification of Martina's misgivings about Zeissians, being so passionate about her work she sometimes ends up attacking, rather than sweeping the dust and she has severe trouble with her volume control when interacting with guests. This is a big contrast with Martina, who's a firm believer in always being calm and at ease around guests, even during a time such as the days after the attack on Central Factory, when quite a few people in town were unnerved.

Eventually, Martina sits down with her maid and shares her grievances with her, circumventing the issue of Emma's abundant amount of energy by giving her additional chores to blow off steam when there are no guests nearby.
