The Gospel (ゴスペル), also known as The Black Orbment, is a powerful and mysterious 아티팩트 in 영웅전설 하늘의 궤적 FC and 영웅전설 하늘의 궤적 SC that had the ability to shut down nearby 도력기s. This ability was called as the 도력 정지 현상. While the exterior looks ancient, the orbment appears artificially replicated with modern materials with no seams or maintenance panel to access the interior. There is no caliber inscribed on its surface. These replicas are constructed of Kurdalegon Alloy.[1]
In Trails in the Sky SC, the Gospel is revealed to be part of a plot formed by 우로보로스 member and 앙기스 게오르그 와이스만. This plot was known as the 복음계획, in which he planned to bring back the 리벨 아크 which contained the 오리올, the 일곱 지보 of Space, which he wanted to obtain for his own use.

The Gospel is first seen in at the end of 제1장 "사라진 비행여객선" when Estelle and Joshua get a parcel intended for their father Cassius delivered containing a unit with the following note;
