Prometheus is a man met in the Capua Hideout.
He's one of the passengers on the airship Linde who gets taken hostage when the airliner is boarded and hijacked by the Capua Sky Bandits. He and the other passengers are then blindfolded and taken to the Capuas' hideout in Nebel Valley on board the sky bandits' ship where they're imprisoned in one of the rooms on the lower level of the hideout.
Their ordeal comes to an end when Estelle, Joshua, Scherazard and Olivier stow away on the sky bandits' ship, infiltrate the hideout and subdue the group of bandits guarding their cell. When the army arrives, Prometheus and the other passengers are transported back to town.
In daily life, Prometheus is an orbal engineer who works at the design department at the Central Factory. He was on his way back from the factory to give a lecture at Jenis Royal Academy when the airship he was on was captured. After his rescue, he returns to his workplace in Zeiss.
Prometheus used to be in charge of the transport vehicle department, but he transferred to the design section a long time ago. When a haulage vehicle breaks down outside the city, Estelle and Joshua approach him in an attempt to secure a new engine, but since he's no longer in charge of that division, Prometheus can't help them. He doesn't even know who's currently in charge of that department.
