Emily is a woman working at Gurune Gate checkpoint.
She's the cook and manager of the mess hall. Emily is quite fond of her job and likes variety in her cooking. She changes her menu on a regular basis. Her cooking skills are rather hit-and-miss though. There have been cases where her experimental meals resulted in minor food poisoning. Nevertheless, all the soldiers at Gurune Gate are too polite to complain to Emily about that. While she's flattered by this courtesy, she does feel that she'd appreciate their honest opinion about her cooking. Before Estelle and her friends head for Bose, she mentions playing with the thought of buying a book with Eastern recipes during her next visit in Grancel, since those seem to start getting more popular.
Apparantly Emily met Lieutenant Julia Schwarz at some point, because she mentions really looking up to her.
