Shelby is a man met in the seaside village of Manoria.
He and his fellow-mountaineer Alvin are staying at the White Magnolia Inn in preparation for a hiking and climbing trip in the Krone Mountains. This isn't the first time he and Alvin are taking a trip to the Krone Range, but last time they were forced to call off the whole thing due to bad weather, so now they're in Manoria for a second stab at things. While conditions are good in the lower parts, weather's apparently still harsh near the top of the mountains, so he and Alvin are waiting in Manoria until things calm down a little.

Shelby is currently on a hiking trip together with Alvin.
