Ilene is an inhabitant of the town of Grancel.
She's an old woman who lives in the house across the street from the Sunnybell Inn in the southern section of the royal city, together with her husband Bill.
She and her husband (who playfully calls her "Shorty") have lived in Grancel all their life and have been married for decades, but the two of them are still rather young in spirit, especially during the tournament when the enthusiasm in the air makes her feel several years younger.
She and her husband were given tickets to the martial arts tournament as a gift by people from the castle and they took the opportunity to go and watch it, thoroughly enjoying the matches.
Despite their happy life, they too caught rumors of the Queen's illness and were greatly worried about her. When the illness turns out to be a lie and the princess is safely returned, both Ilene and her husband are greatly relieved and, no longer worrying about the kingdom's future, happily celebrate the Queen's birthday in Grancel's streets.
While she and her husband were out shopping in the department store and ended up buying more than they could carry, they were approached by one of the Raven gang members who ended up helping them carry the items to their home.
