Buck is an inhabitant of the town of Bose.
He's a merchant who runs a grocery stall in the Bose Market. He gets his produce from the fields of Ravennue Village and dreams of opening up a big food market in Bose someday together with his friend Trayton.
The first impression he makes is not exactly a positive one. Around the time Estelle, Joshua and Scherazard arrive in Bose, Buck is in an extremely bad mood due to the air traffic ban imposed by the army severely limiting his ability to restock and threatening to cause financial trouble for him. He responds to this situation by trying to buy up as much food as possible and sell it at a higher price than usual, but this earns him a public scolding from Mayor Maybelle who came by to inspect the market and noticed what he was doing. Feeling ashamed of his actions, he quickly reverts his prices to what they were before.
Buck apparantly imports vegetables from the Perzel Farm in Rolent, citing its top quality as a reason for having them brought in from another region by airliner.
