Berden is an inhabitant of the town of Grancel.
He's a man usually found near the fountain in the southern section of the royal city. While Berden doesn't look like a tour guide, he could certainly pass off as one. He has lived in the city for quite some time and he has many interesting tidbits to share about the city, such as its layout, its sewer system or the meaning of the falcon statue on top of the fountain or the trees that line the central avenue.
Like several citizens of Grancel, Berden notices how more and more special ops start appearing on the street as the birthday celebration gets closer and he has a bad feeling about them. Nevertheless, the truth about Colonel Richard having been behind the special ops' presence and an attempted coup takes him by surprise, mentioning that he never figured the colonel as being that kind of man.
