Ferida Al-Fayed's story.
Background
Feri was brought up by her mother and father in the traditions of the Warriors of Kruga. Due to their work, Feri has traveled across much of the central Zemurian continent. She has seen battlefield combat but is still fairly inexperienced and not yet viewed as a complete member. Feri has seen skirmishes with the Eisenschild corps and maintains a close relationship with fellow jaeger Aida whom she views as an 'older-sister' type figure.

Upon receiving word that a battalion of Eisenschild she had previously networked with has suddenly gone missing, Feri initiates her own search, knowing that Aida was a part of it and would not easily be detained or killed. In her efforts, she independently leaves her unit and travels to Edith to enlist the services of the Arkride Solutions Office. After the Genesis unit in Agnès' possession begins to glow, Van realises there may be a connection to his prior case and agrees to investigate.
It turns out that René Kincaid had also been involved, having dispatched special forces to attack the Eisenschild forces as a training exercise. they did not kill Aida but they are unaware of exactly what happened to them afterwards. After consulting with René, Van, Agnès, and Feri head to Creil, their last known speculated location.
After a thorough investigation, The party realise Aida had been visiting the village for certain supplies including gasoline and rope, but not food or sustenance in suspicious circumstances. They track down the group of jaegers to the nearby stone circle where it is revealed the Eisenschild force was slaughtered by members of the Gardens acting in the interests of Almata. A second Genesis manipulated their life force, turning them into ghouls and slowly eroding their minds. Melchior triggers Aida to turn into a new form merging with her ghoul comrades, becoming Ghoul Aida. The party defeating this creature restores Aida's true form but also causes her to start to disappear, having spent her life force. Aida requests Feri finish her off, to which Feri despairs and refuses to do. Reinforcement Eisenschild forces headed by Geraint Reigar and the Kruga corps itself headed by Hasan Al-Fayed arrive and urge Feri to complete Aida's last request. Van, realising Feri is not ready to take a life in such circumstances, acts in her stead, to the jaegers' disappointment.
Following these events, Feri turns up at the Arkride Solutions Office, having been disowned by her corps for failing to mercy-kill Aida. Van is extremely reluctant, but after reading a threatening letter from Hasan, realises he has been made responsible for her growth seeing as he acted in her stead, and should he make any move against Feri, the full might of the Kruga corps would bring full retribution upon him. Van was therefore forced to allow Feri into his employ.
Feri would prove to be a worthy companion, if slightly naive at the ways of the world and the innuendos of the others. She reveled in experiencing the different cultures of Calvard and was eager to help in Van's spriggan duties. She was initially very reliant on solving problems with brute force, but eventually learns the subtleties of the trade. During the visit to Tharbad, Feri quickly develops a bond with sisters Saara and Shaheena and shares their love of dancing. They teach her a dance which she intends to use in her coming of age festival in the new year.
Feri also has the opportunity to bond with Fie Claussell, a former member of Zephyr and someone who had a similar relationship with Aida. Together they reminisce about her and bond together over events such as the repair and maintenance of Aidias custom rifle, bequeathed to Feri.
Feri has the chance to reunite with her brother, Kasim Al-Fayed, who had left the corps to take up employment with the Marduk Company. He has different views to the rest of the family but is encouraged to see Feri experiencing the world. They come head to head beneath Oración but Feri gets the better of him by stealing his key cards while he is distracted. Kasim is pleased to see how much Feri has grown.
At the end of the year, Feri leaves to reunite with her family for the New Year, taking her dance skills with her for the festival and religious rites. She says she intends to train with her brother, who will also be returning to family, and return stronger than ever, much to Van's chagrin.
