Profile

Introduction

영웅전설 여의 궤적

An honorary professor at the venerated Institute of Science in Basel, the Engineering City, as well as a former chief consultant for the Verne Company. She was one of the three disciples of Professor Epstein, the man who brought about the Orbal Revolution. She first brought orbal technology to the Republic and endeavored to spread it across Zemuria with the belief it was rural and remote areas that needed orbal technology more than any other. Three years ago, she left her positions as professor and chief consultant, passed her work on to Associate Professor Esmeray and her star pupil Quatre, and went abroad to pursue her research elsewhere.[1]

영웅전설 계의 궤적

A former senior advisor to the Verne Company and professor emerita of the Basel Institute of Science. As one of the three disciples of Professor C. Epstein, the father of the Orbal Revolution, she has made a great many strides in orbal technology, believing it a necessary tool in bettering the world, especially for remote regions. Despite her scholastic prestige, Hamilton is a woman of character who treats all her fellow humans as equals. Generously devoted to the underprivileged, her contributions include securing water sources for Tharbad, planting trees in the Central East, and taking measures to counter the desertification of the East. It's this boundless empathy that leads some to consider her something of a holy mother. Be that as it may, however, recent evidence seems to point to her indirect involvement in the Crimson Grendel incident. But to what end...?[2]

Appearance

Latoya is an elderly woman with long flowing greying blonde hair and turquoise eyes, over which she wears glasses. She wears a thick magenta pinstripe turtleneck along with a long black skirt and maroon high-heeled shoes. Over this outfit, Latoya wears a white lab coat with the insignia of Basel University on the upper arm. Around her neck is an ornate silver pendant with an unknown significance.

Personality

Professor Hamilton is an altruistic and compassionate individual, deeply mindful of the technological gap between regions. Among Professor Epstein’s three disciples, she is considered the most well‑adjusted—far less eccentric than Russell and far kinder than Schmidt.

Hamilton long believed it were the rural and remote areas that needed orbal technology more than other regions. Hamilton enlisted the help of the Bracer Guild, which already had a close relationship with the Epstein Foundation, and formed a mission with the intent of promoting and spreading the technology where applicable. Professor Hamilton also toured the regions with the aim of spreading public awareness and laying foundations for other to build on in the future.[3]

Hamilton looks past the circumstances of where someone is born to find the good in them and nurture it. She is described as kind, compassionate, and caring, and a really amazing person. However, behind this benevolent exterior lies a more complicated truth that she has performed more morally dubious actions behind the scene that was left behind by the legacy left by her mentor, Professor Epstein, though well‑intentioned for the good of humanity.
