The Silver Dew Orb (銀露の宝珠) is a potentially defunct artifact that warns its bearer of all approaching danger.
Background
At an unknown moment in time, the Silver Dew Orb came into the possession of pirate Schirmer,[JP 1] who made the Ruan Coast his home around the year S.1100.[1][Note 1]
In S.1202, 에스텔 브라이트 accepts a request from Jimmy to retrieve the treasure designated on a map originally drawn by Schirmer. It leads them to the Kaldia Limestone Cave, where they find the artifact alongside the following letter:[1]
In memory of my seventieth birthday and my retirement from piracy--here lies my Silver Dew Orb. This gem holds the power to warn its bearer of all approaching danger. I can say my living to this day is thanks to none other than this jewel. However, I have grown old and weary of being bothered by the 'knights' who come seeking it. And so I sink it into this lake. You who have found it, do as you please. However, as I wrote, this treasure comes with its own troubles...

Realising he obtained a potentially dangerous object, Jimmy accepts Bracer Guild receptionist 키리카 로우란's proposal to have it investigated by the History Museum in City of Grancel and arranges the trip for him.[1]
Trivia
- Schirmer was the famous rival of Galleon[JP 2] of the Lamare Coast.[2]
