Sheena Dirke's story.
Background
Sheena was a student of the Royal Academy in Edith. She was 20 years old at the time but this did not stop her from being an activist against the way the nobility were oppressing the populace at the time. Aaron Wei suggests she was herself of noble birth. As a result of the protests she led, the movement started to be perceived as a threat and a brutal crackdown was started with many students suffering. Sheena herself was imprisoned at one point. Her determination and passion united many to her cause and the Revolutionary army grew in size. Sheena was the figurehead of this new movement.
At some point in the Revolution, Sheena was forced into hiding in the ancient ruins beneath the Royal Academy, which is now Aramis Academy. She worked closely with three prominent allies, Ulgar Atkinson, Auguste Aldan and Aramis Gainsbourg who was also her close friend. Due to despotism, Auguste eventually came into conflict her Aramis and betrayed her, eventually leading to his execution.
After the war, Sheena became the first leader of the republic of Calvard. She brought about sweeping reforms and modernised the country, chartering a new constitution. She appointed Aramis as the new head of the renamed Aramis Academy and incorporated his opinions into how it should be run.
After her death, Dirke Memorial Park was opened in her honor to preserve nature. Statues of Sheena can be found within the park and in Revolution Plaza in Edith. She has movies made about her such as Gloria, and history books record her as a woman who changed the world. Sheena is a name given to young girls due to her influence.
