오라시온

Oración (オラシオン), also known as Oración, the Former Royal Capital (旧王都オラシオン), is one of the oldest cities in 칼바드.

Background

Oración is the third largest city in Calvard with a population of 280,000 behind 이디스 and 랭포트. It was historically the capital of Calvard until the revolution just over 100 years ago when Edith took over that position. Oración is a city steeped in tradition and history with many long-established businesses operating in the city, many historical landmarks and a great proportion of families linked to the former aristocracy of Calvard. The city has several regulations in place to maintain the aesthetic, culture and charm. It purports itself to be a 'fine arts' city.

The city was not destroyed during the revolution because those responsible realised the beauty of the city and that the artisans and architects who designed it had done nothing wrong.

The current mayor of Oración is Filnan Audran, the leader of the Conservative Party. Other notable figures and companies located within or attributed to the city include Ferdinand of the Royal Guardian publication, President Dartier of car manufacturer 에트와스, 에드몽 오클레르, CEO of the 퀸시 사 and Adlene Monange, owner of the opera house.

Due to its high population of descendants of nobility, Oración is perhaps the most conservative and immigrant-hostile city in Calvard. Openly classist and racist sentiments are common among Oraciónese, and immigrants have poor work prospects due to discrimination and face having major achievements derailed by racist harassment. Although an increasing number of Oraciónese are abandoning racist beliefs, they are still drowned out and harassed by those who have not. The local newspaper has a reputation for having been royalist during the Revolution and is still notably conservative today, but does not have an openly racist editorial stance.

Oración operates a series of orbal trams in the city. They are regarded as slow but good for sightseeing. The company that manages them created them as a way to carry on the tradition of horse-drawn carriages and therefore there is a lot of etiquette surrounding them, right down to the announcements. There is a tradition of having one tram painted red, regarded as the 'Lucky Red Tram' following a series of incidents of good fortune. The tram was originally painted red instead of green by accident. There are large numbers of tourists within the city.

영웅전설 여의 궤적

Oración is the site chosen by 아르마타 to hold the 사육제, a large scale terrorist event pitting several underworld teams and factions against one another with the aim of reaching Almata itself. Almata made themselves a target by threatening the city's population with an extremely powerful reactor weapon and an observation system managed by the sixth Genesis unit to prevent their rules from being broken. Despite a large number of backers for the mafia located in the city, including 에트와스 and the Quincy Company, Almata had no qualms about destroying them.

반 아크라이드 and the 아크라이드 해결사 사무소 travel to the city in hopes of of stopping Almata, as part of a ploy by 엘로이 하우드 to balance out the number of chaotic factions. Van's group sidestep the restrictions and ally with another group, a loophole the Genesis doesn't view as a violation but which prompts Almata to have 아리옥 periodically attack Van's group as a penalty for finding the loophole. Van's group eventually defeats enough factions and collects enough access keys to confront each member of Almata in turn and safeguard the city.

• Oración Grand Cathedral- Located in the east of the city, it is the largest cathedral in Calvard and famous amongst tourists.
• Oración Market- located near the waterways.
• Cinema Champs-Elysées
• Oración Opera House- one of the few remaining opera houses in the country, they promote their culture and history. They were renovated 10 years after the revolution and have been an establishment for 92 years.
• Earles Orphanage

• Quincy Department Store - a famous location and distributor of the renowned Quincy Bell sweets. Also the headquarters of the Quincy Company. Alongside Quincy Bell, the store also houses Arms & Saddlery Caucasus, Luxury Boutique Colnago, and Luxury Foods Belle-Forêt.
• The Royal Guardian- headquarters of a really old publication that was rumoured to have the royalty's ear back in the pre-revolution era. They are a conservative paper but don't openly print anything discriminatory.
• 바슈탈 궁 ruins- this castle was formerly the heart of the Kingdom of Calvard and the seat of the royal family, the Eldarion Family's power. It was reduced to a ruin following the revolution.

• Oración uses a mix of Spanish and French names. "Oración" and "corazón" are Spanish for "prayer" and "heart," respectively.
