Background
Kuro
Viola was born in a small noble family in the Kadath region in the Middle East. Her family fell after Kadath was annexed into the coastal city-state Valis and Viola herself was sold to a wealthy merchant. Later, Viola fell into the hands of the criminal organization that attacked the merchant and she became its boss' plaything. At one point, she overthrew the boss, seized the organization and becomes known as a merciless and brutal leader. Two years later, Viola and her organization ventured into Calvard where they ran into Almata. Its leader, Gerard Dantes, completely destroyed her organization after which she pledged absolute loyalty to him.

Kuro
Viola is one of the three executives of Almata. She makes her debut executing gang members in Langport alongside Alexandre, before introducing herself to Van Arkride and the Arkride Solutions Office. They withdraw to the Hei Long Stronghold where they have made their base and await the party and Aaron Wei. Upon arrival Viola is annoyed at the men's discussion about weapons and is eager to start a fight. Following this fight, she explains Langport's bloody history with Taikun and strongly implies Aaron, having lured him there to draw out his power and unleash chaos upon the city. She throws him the Genesis unit which brings about a transformation of Aaron into Taikun. Taikun attacks her so the pair withdraw again, this time from Langport altogether. Melchior mocks them for failing, to which Viola fires back, wondering about the other two, Arioch and Olympia that he brought in.
Viola reinforces Gerard Dantes in Tharbad, flying the Almata airship to retrieve him from the hotel, whilst strafing bullets at the party...and Melchior. She is also involved in unleashing archaisms onto Basel and gets very frustrated at Renne's efforts at saving everyone.
She acts as the first manager of Almata's Carnival death game in Oración overseeing the Upper Stratum. Using a hologram, she announces that two teams: the Scorpion of Zahat and Doole Family are eliminated promptly after the game begins. Van's party are the first to reach her. Viola's first act is to decry the injustice of wealth and equality in the world, describing her past and jealously of Scherazard Harvey who had a poor background yet became an Imperial princess. She vowed to tear everything down and came to lead her organization, until Gerard Dantes crushed it and recruited her. She realized the only true equality was under the fear that Gerard was seeking. She uses a drug-based boost and begins to fight, but is beaten. She doesn't want pity and demands to be killed, raising her needle gun. If she is stopped, she is handed over to either the Guild or Heiyue, but otherwise she will be stabbed by Van and die.
Using the power of the seventh Genesis, Melchior brings Viola back when he summons Pandemonium in Edith. She tries to take revenge on the party, fighting alongside Olympia in Genesis Tower but is beaten once again. As she vanishes or before she collapses, she asks Van to take out Gerard. The party thinks that they got through to her a little bit in the end.
