1. In the Field Ex. Camp, head out to the South Sutherland Highway and travel to Saint-Arkh.
   • PARTY: Claire joins when leaving the camp and leaves when reaching Saint-Arkh.
2. Check all requests.
3. Speak with the following people and complete Herb Helper:
   • Kestner in Albion Garden Department Store, Cathedral Square.
   • Vivi in April Cafe & Inn, Residential District.
4. Head to the North Sutherland Highway and enter the secluded area to the north for a battle, then head to the end of the area for a scene.
5. Return to Saint-Arkh and approach the station doors for a scene.
6. Travel to the Field Ex. Camp for a scene.
7. Head to the South Sutherland Highway Map 2 and approach the train accident site.
8. Travel to Parm and visit the following locations:
   • Enter Jerome's General Store then visit the Parm Chapel
   • Enter the White Footpath Inn and speak with Bertrand
   • Approach the Vander Training Hall then enter inside
9. Head to the Old Agria Road and walk to the northern end for a battle.
10. Return to Parm and head to the Parm Byroad.
11. Walk along the road south and speak with Annabelle.
12. Approach the blockade and walk to the area behind for a battle.
13. In Parm, exit to the South Sutherland Highway to return to the Field Ex. Camp.
14. Head to the camp entrance for a battle.
15. Approach the Zephyrantes on the right for a battle.
16. Approach the Balancing Clowns on the left for a battle.

2. Equip a sub-master quartz on everyone in the party then leave to Saint-Arkh.
3. Check all requests.
4. Head to the North Sutherland Highway and approach the entrance to Map 2 for a battle.
5. Cross the bridge and continue for a battle.
6. Head to Dreknor Fortress and approach the gate for a scene.
7. Return to Saint-Arkh for a scene.
8. Travel to the Field Ex. Camp, then to Parm.
9. Head to the Parm Byroad, approach the locked gate to the southwest and enter the Hamel Road.
   • PARTY: Agate joins.
10. Head north up the ramp for a battle.
11. Continue south for a battle.
12. Continue towards the exit to Map 2 for a battle.
13. Head to Map 2 and continue to Hamel.
14. Walk south to the memorial for two battles.

The next morning, the train carrying the branch campus personnel arrived in Sutherland near the city of Saint-Arkh. Class VII and Major Claire traveled to Saint-Arkh, where they met with Marquis Hyarms and Class VII received a list of tasks for their missions. In addition to jobs from the cathedral and residents, Class VII was asked to investigate a mysterious monster and immediately set out to conduct their first Special Ops missions in Saint-Arkh. As they searched a northern highway, they encountered the mysterious monster. It turned out to be a group of archaisms, similar to the ones employed by Ouroboros during the civil war. Rean and the students managed to defeat them and after the battle, they encountered a mysterious man who introduced himself as a hunter. After returning from a request for the cathedral, Rean reunited with one of his former classmates from Class VII, Elliot Craig. The two promised to stay in touch and returned to work.

When afternoon arrived, Class VII headed out to Kurt's hometown of Parm upon learning of monster sightings nearby. There, they were ambushed by another group of archaisms, but escaped with the help of old Class VII member, Laura S. Arseid. And so they managed to make it through their first day of field exercises. Rean and his students returned to the field exercise camp that night, and as he was debriefing with the other instructors, Ouroboros' Enforcer No. XVII--the Sanguine Ogre, Shirley Orlando--and the leader of the Stahlritter, Duvalie the Swift, released a massive number of archaisms to level the field exercise camp. Watching the instructors and students struggle to survive elated Shirley. Unable to contain herself, she joined the battle. However, just then, old Class VII member, Fie Claussell, opened fire, forcing Shirley back. Fie was joined by Elliot and Laura, and the branch campus managed to regroup and fend off the archaisms. However, as they were making their retreat, Duvalie and Shirley warned the branch campus to stay out of their way.

The next morning, Major Lechter arrived at the field exercise camp. He addressed Rean as the Ashen Chevalier once more and issued an Imperial order: uncover the purpose behind the society's advances in the Sutherland province, and put a stop to them. Rean accepted the order and left the field exercise camp with Laura, Fie, and Elliot. Forbidden to come along, the members of the current Class VII were disappointed at being unable to help their instructor. Rean and the others went to work immediately, and accompanied by the Liberlian bracer, Agate Crosner, arrived at the ruined village of Hamel after uncovering a tragedy from 14 years prior. They discovered a memorial at the back of the village, where Duvalie and Shirley were offering silent prayers. The two acknowledged Rean and the others peacefully. Surprised by the gesture, they also offered flowers and prayers to the memorial. Outside the entrance to the village, Rean and the others engaged Shirley and Duvalie in battle, attempting to learn Ouroboros's intentions behind their recent actions. Duvalie and Shirley's allies ambushed Rean and the others during the battle, but Ash led the Class VII members in a surprise attack, driving them back with his Panzer Soldat. Shirley activated a gigantic archaism called an Aion, but Rean summoned Valimar without a moment's delay and fought back against the mechanical monstrosity. He was unable to defeat it on his own, but Kurt came to his aid by quickly commandeering the Panzer Soldat Ash brought along. Soon after the battle, Randy arrived in a Panzer Soldat of his own, but Shirley and the others withdrew, calling out an unexpected spectator before they left. The man Shirley called out was the man Rean met the other day. His real identity was Rutger Claussell: the leader of Zephyr, the Jaegar King, and Fie's adoptive father, who'd died in front of her years ago. Furthermore, Zephyr's Regimental Commanders, Xeno and Leonidas, also appeared. Rutger summoned a shadow that appeared to be a purple Divine Knight to destroy what was left of the Aion before disappearing. Afterwards, everyone from the branch campus was debriefed. Rean scolded the Class VII students for disobeying his orders, but Elliot and the others interrupted his lecture and acknowledged their efforts in the end.

And so, the disruption the society caused in Sutherland came to a close. Having finished their field exercises, the branch campus prepared to return to Leeves. Rean said goodbye to Agate and his former classmates. Having seen members of the old Class VII leap into action to investigate Ouroboros, Juna and the other new Class VII students realized they still had a ways to go themselves. But Laura and the others were encouraging and told them they looked forward to the next time they would meet.
