Background
Vegas Films are headquartered in Tharbad. They are a lead in the industry of orbal films and jointly host the film festivals every year, alongside the principality of Elsaim.
Negative publicity surrounds the company, with rumours of political slush funds and bribes, including concerns about the establishment of their headquarters in Tharbad. They are connected with illegal activity as well, including drug trafficking and a connection with the underworld. A facility for developing drugs is found on the basement level of their headquarters. They are also known to deploy Archaisms for security.
Vegas Films evaluate independent films for unaffiliated productions.

Vegas Films decides to host the first ever Tharbad Film festival, following the cancellation of the Messeldam Film festival due to Terroist threats. Elsaim has been working with them for the last 6 months. Salvatore Gotti takes over organising the 'Foxy Parade' that will precede the awards. Unbeknownst the public, president Gaspard Dillon has been funding Almata behind the scenes. In order to disrupt the festival, he helps facilitate threatening letters to participants and also kidnaps Saara, taking her to a secret level of the Vegas Films headquarters on basement floor 5. Security archaisms are activated to make sure of his safety. When he is discovered, Melchior sees no further use for him and kills him, leaving a message on the wall using his blood.
A funeral is held shortly after. It is not known who took over the position of president, but it was decided shortly after the funeral.
