The Vashtar Palace (ヴァシュタール宮) was the seat of power for the Calvardian Monarchy, located in Oración, Calvard.
Background
Prior to the Calvardian Revolution, 100 years before 영웅전설 여의 궤적 takes place, the large Vashtar Palace was the seat of the Eldarion family's reign, and Oración was the capital of Calvard's monarchy. The royal family lived here. After the revolution, the castle was left intact but in a ruined state, and the capital became Edith. It still stands in Oracion as a tourist attraction, the Vashtar Palace Ruins (ヴァシュタール宮跡).
Beneath the ruins are three strata of catacombs and waterworks, which are now filled with monsters and spirits. Entrances to the catacombs can be found all over the city. there are at least 20. In the catacombs there is an elevator that leads to the center of the palace.
At some point, the emperor of Iska visited the palace alongside Arioch over a 100 years ago.
영웅전설 여의 궤적
Gerard Dantès, as the last known surviving Eldarion, uses the Vashtar Palace Ruins as the stage for the Carnival. He remains in the throne room with the Genesis and reactor weapon whilst the 20 teams compete to face him in the catacombs below. Melchior awaits by his side and Arioch acts as final guardian. During the Carnival, the palace was made off limits to the public.
Upon Gerard's death, Melchior reveals he has placed explosive devices around the palace and blows it up, with the party escaping by diving from a window into a pool of water below.

During Celis Ortesia's erosion, the party are transported to a replica of the Vashtar Palace Ruins where they fight members of Iscariot.
