1. In the Heimdallr Racecourse, head to the Passageway and speak with Alan at the top of the stairs.
2. Speak with Professor Schmidt and Gwyn in the Imperial Museum, spend 5 tickets and complete No Man Left Behind.

3. Contact the students on the ARCUS for a scene.
4. In the Esmelas Garden, speak with the following people then walk to the central platform:

   • Sara, Sharon and Millium, then speak with Millium again
   • Emma, Fie, Altina and Elise
   • Elliot, Machias and Professor Schmidt
   • Patrick, Gaius and Gwyn
   • Laura, Juna, Ada and Empress Priscilla, then speak with each of them again
   • Ash, Fritz and General Craig
   • Kurt, Jusis and Prince Cedric, then speak with Cedric again
   • Musse, Claire and Chairman Irina
   • Approach Emperor Eugent for a scene
5. After the scene, speak with the following people:
   • Marquis Hyarms, Gwyn and Sharon, then speak with Marquis Hyarms again

Having captured the Calvardian agents, both Thors campuses received a commendation the following day from Imperial Governor Regnitz at the racecourse. Due to the party being held later that evening, the field exercises were temporarily suspended. While everyone was enjoying the Summer Festival in Heimdallr, Rean spoke with General Craig, who told him stories about Chancellor Osborne's time in the Imperial Army. After learning about his biological father's past for the first time, Rean resolved to speak with Osborne when he could.

Everyone grew closer as they spent time together during the Summer Festival. Lechter contacted Rean as he was bonding with his friends and asked him to meet up at the station. The two of them, along with Rean's allies, went into the underground to look around for the last Calvardian agent, a young man who was looking for vengeance after his father's death. After helping out Lechter with his request, Ash confronted Lechter about his past and his father's role in causing the destruction of Hamel. Lechter admitted everything and thanked Rean for his help. Later that evening at the party, Rean was saying his goodbyes when he was summoned by Emperor Eugent III. The emperor revealed his own past to Rean and informed him of the curse that existed within the Empire. Upon learning why the emperor had no intentions of stopping Osborne, Rean promised to give everything he had to create a new path ahead for Erebonia. As Rean left, Osborne appeared, as if on cue, and told Rean about what happened 14 years ago--why Osborne was still alive after being shot and the reason behind the scar on Rean's chest. Rean was shaken by this unexpected information, but regained his composure after returning to his friends and students. However, they soon noticed Ash wasn't there, and everyone rushed out to find him. Meanwhile, Ash confronted the emperor and Osborne, having disguised himself as a servant. Something evil seeped from Ash's left eye, and he pointed the gun as if he were possessed. While Ash aired his grievances, the emperor stepped forward as if to welcome the shot. A series of gunshots cracked through the air. When Rean and the others rushed to the Imperial family's lounge, they found the emperor, bleeding from the chest, and Ash, enshrouded by a mysterious miasma, being restrained by Osborne.
