무한의 틈새

The Endless Expanse (无限の狭間), also known as The Demon Lord's Hall (むげんはざまあおぐろ黝き魔王の斎場, lit. "Blue and Black Demon Lord's Funeral Hall"), is a location accessed in 영웅전설 여의 궤적.

Background

The Endless Expanse is described as a space in the boundary between the real world and The Beyond. It is a large cloudy space with innumerable chains binding the air. It is simultaneously described as terrifying, nostalgic and as making you want to cry. It is regarded as space suitable for sealing one of the Seventy-Seven Devils for a long period of time.

영웅전설 여의 궤적

When Van Arkride reclaims the diabolic core from Gerard Dantès and becomes Vagrants Diaspora, he transports himself to the Endless Expanse. Agnès Claudel becomes desperate to retrieve him and begs Mare for help. She directs them to the roof of the Arkride Solutions Office and those with the closest bond to Van (the main party) are able to pass through a rift and reach the Endless Expanse. There they fight Vagrants Diaspora and Van breaks free of it. They defeat it once more and it withdraws. Van throws the core far into the distance where the space of the Endless Expanse seems to crack.
