Introduction
Ten years before the events of Trails through Daybreak II, Leroy got on the wrong side of the Lu family and was driven out of Langport, abandoning both his six year old son Aaron and his wife Yuefa. Yuefa was a successful actress in the Eastern Theater, earning far more than Leroy ever did. However, Leroy squandered much of her savings on gambling and alcohol, things that Aaron says "put his mother through hell."
Personality
Leroy is shown to be deeply flawed with a history of being not just a playboy, but also falling into cycles of gambling and debt that repeatedly land him in trouble.
Despite his many failures, Leroy continues to carry feelings of guilt and lingering affection for his family. Leroy is burdened by guilt and regret, particularly regarding the way he treated Yuefa and the hardship he caused Aaron. He's shown to carry a lingering devotion to Yuefa’s memory and a desire to reconnect with Aaron.
