The Basel Artisans Guild (バーゼルの職人組合) is one of the three governing bodies of Basel located within the Artisanal District of the city. The guild is made up of a diverse array of workshops and factories, each specializing in its own niche. Their current head is Giscard.

Background

The Basel Artisans Guild is one of the three governing bodies of Basel, alongside the Verne Company and the Basel Institute of Science. Although the exact founding date of the guild is never specified, its origins are said to date back to the Middle Ages, establishing a long-standing tradition of craftsmanship and technical expertise within the city.

The guild is made up of a diverse array of workshops and factories, each having their specialty. These artisans are renowned for their exceptional skills and meticulous attention to detail, making them highly sought after both domestically and internationally. Their work has played a crucial role in shaping the industrial prowess of Basel. The guild collaborated with the Basel Institute of Science in S.1163 to establish the Verne Company, now one of the continents foremost orbal technology manufacturers and the largest private company in the Republic. To this day, the Artisans Guild maintains close ties with both the Verne Company and the Basel Institute of Science, contributing to the city's reputation as the heart of technological innovation in the Republic of Calvard. Their collaboration with the Basel Institute of Science allows them to take cutting-edge research and develop practical, high-quality products for the Verne Company.

The current head of the Basel Artisans Guild is Giscard, who also serves as the Chief Engineer of Giscard's Workshop (ジスカール工房), the flagship workshop of the guild.
