List of quests (Cold Steel II)/Divertissement/The Underground

The Underground (地下区画の探索) is a story quest that occurs during the 외전 "크로스벨 점령" in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 II.

Background

The quest is automatically acquired at the beginning of the Divertissement.

If Clear Data from 섬의 궤적 II is loaded, the options to raise Lloyd and Rixia's levels by 15 or entirely skipping the quest directly to the scenes are available.

Walkthrough

1. In the Geofront, head west to the main room for a battle.
2. Head south, climb down the stairs and cross the vent.
3. Activate both switches, climb the ladder and continue south.
4. Climb down the ladder, head north and cross the vents.
5. Activate the switch and head to Block 2.
6. Head into the south room and activate the switch in the corner.
7. Climb down the stairs and continue to the room with the switch for a battle.
8. Activate the switch and continue north.
9. Continue past the first switch and activate the second switch.
10. Head into the west room for a battle.
11. Climb down the stairs, activate the switch and continue to Block 3.
12. Activate the two switches to unlock the elevator:
    • To the north, just follow the path to the switch.
    • To the south, cross the bridge and climb the ladder.
    • Activate the switch, then cross the vent and continue the path to the next switch.
    • Activate the switch and cross the bridge south to the last switch.
13. Return to the center and activate the elevator.
14. Head to the Central Computer Room and enter the room at the end for a battle.

March 1205 - Crossbell City

• We reached Sector E of the Geofront under Crossbell. The area we need to reach is deep inside this sector. Let's get going.
• These ARCUS orbments we were able to get hold of seem like they'll be a real handy asset, especially the combat link functionality.
• There are a lot of dangerous monsters in here. We'll have to watch our step if we want to get through in one piece.
• We've got a lot of challenges ahead of us, and we're not going to be able to get through them without making good use of everyone's strengths...and I don't just mean Rixia and I. I mean Elie, Tio, Randy, Noel and countless others, too.
• We've still got a ways to go through the Geofront. Let's keep it up.
• Rixia seems apprehensive about something. Cao did mention a skilled warrior being in Crossbell, so the two might be related.
• We should be halfway through this sector of the Geofront now. We can't afford to let our guards down.
• We arrived at the end of the sector, but before we could complete our task, a black-haired boy and a girl with some kind of strange puppet tried to stop us.
• We were able to buy enough time to complete our objective...or so we thought. All of a sudden, the boy summoned something called the Ashen Knight and boarded it.
• He swung a giant blade and smashed the orbal network terminals to pieces.
• I learned that his name is Rean Schwarzer. It wasn't ideal with losing the terminals, but we were able to stop the data falling into the Imperial Army's hands, and he permitted us to escape the Geofront.
• No matter what barriers stand in our path, we swear to get over them!
