The Eisengard Range (アイゼンガルド連峰) is a mountain range to the far north of Ymir in the Nortia Province of Erebonia. It serves as a natural border with Remiferia and the Nord Highlands.
Background
The Eisengard Range is a massive mountain range at the northern border of Erebonia with the Principality of Remiferia and the Nord Highlands. The Schwarzer Barony is located within the range, while the Sachsen Iron Mine draws iron ore from deep in the mountains. According to Kenneth Lakelord, the region is full of great fishing spots that are not very well known, having heard of them and brought there by his grandfather, Lakelord I.
Yun Ka-fai brought Rean Schwarzer to the mountain range to train him in the Eight Leaves One Blade style, in order for the latter to gain control over his latent power. However, what should've been years of training were cut short after Rean was unable to surpass his fears.

Background
Valimar lands in a remote part of the range after the attack on Trista, with Rean remaining unconscious for a month, guarded only by Celine Millstein. After regaining consciousness, Rean descends down the range and heads for Ymir. On the way, he's intercepted by a Magic Knight and saved by Toval Randonneur together with Elise Schwarzer and Alfin Reise Arnor after receiving his location from a mysterious caller.
In the late stage of the October War, Thors upperclassmen Hibelle and Klein track a missing airline that had been hijacked by dropout Jaeger group Bugbear to the range. They request the help of the Courageous, and Class VII joins them in an operation to free the passengers and apprehend the dropout jaegers. Afterwards, a Cryptid appears where Valimar first landed.

- Eisen means "iron" in German, while "gard" is a Norse word meaning "enclosure" or "fortress" (ex: Asgard).
