Background

Star Door 9 can be found in the Monochrome Schoolhouse's Girls' Dormitory. 50000 mira are required to open this door.

Synopsis

Mayor 메이벨 speaks with Sister Rosa after the former comes to Bose Chapel for some prayers, citing that Lila will scold her if she does not. 메이벨 excuses herself and heads to work, inspecting the market. She wonders why Lila has been acting cold towards her of late. By chance, she spots Lila communicating with a mysterious man, and overhears that they have been spending time together for an unknown reason. 메이벨 jumps to conclusions and assume it must be romance, and says nothing.

The next day, 메이벨 enlists the Bracer Guild's help by asking 아넬라스 엘피드 to perform an investigation onto the pairs' relationship. Anelace initially declines, citing that bracers normally only do background checks on those they suspect of crimes or wrongdoing, but after 메이벨 tells Anelace of Lila's tragic backstory, Anelace is swayed into accepting the request and changing the interpretation, to 'follow the spirit of the Bracer Code'.

Anelace begins her investigation, collecting testimonies from various witnesses. Platina states that lila was s,miling afetr conversing with a man in her bar, and also jumps to the conclusion that they are in love. She then asks Harry and Mina who say they saw the pair walking home together and looked very close. Modena and Trino saw they buying souvenirs together, thinking that they looked like newlyweds. despite being told that he like to exaggerate, Trino does give the information about the young man's name: Lenard, from the Kingfisher Inn.

Several days later, Anelace relates her findings to 메이벨. Lila arrives with a request to make, saying it has to do with the Kingfisher Inn, and Anelace and 메이벨 leap up in anticipation, thinking Lila is about to reveal the truth. Lila and 메이벨 misinterpret each others' words as Lila reveals she has plans for the big day and 메이벨 asks Lila why she is rushing to big decisions without involving her. Lila starts to suspect they are not on the same page and states she is arranging 메이벨s' next vacation at the Kingfisher Inn. Lila states she has no intention of marriage before her mistress who declines all proposals in favour of work. Although she is fond of lenard, Lila states 메이벨's happiness is her reason for being and 메이벨 should focus on herself first.

Anelace, overwhelmed at the bonds the two share, leaves excitedly.
