Background

In Zemurian culture, it is common to refer to certain notable individuals by epithets or monikers, which become synonymous with their reputation. These aliases are attributed to individuals for a wide variety of reasons, including alternate personas, a record of their skills, talents or abilities or something they have achieved. Unlike military titles or titles from nobility, there are no strict criteria for receiving one and anyone can be a recipient. In most cases, they are given to the person by others, although in some cases they are self-bestowed. Some characters have multiple titles, or have received or changed one in the past.
