I Accept Your Request (調査依頼、承ります) is the twelfth Star Door in 영웅전설 하늘의 궤적 the 3rd.
Background
Star Door 12 can be found in the 1st floor of the Command Center of the Impregnable Fortress. Alan Richard is required to open this door.
Synopsis
This door details what becomes of Alan Richard following his departure from the Royal Army of Liberl and his disbanded Intelligence Division. Feeling the need for a civilian-centred research organisation, Richard and Kanone Amalthea found R&A Research in Ruan and conduct various investigations on behalf of the populace of Liberl. Mirano is their client during the time of the door, and Richard has just finished investigating the potential of Ored State for her business venture. There is also news of the Red Constellation making a move in Calvard's Eastern Quarter and Richard makes makes to head in that direction to gather some research.
Richard receives a letter from an unknown figure requesting to meet in the Ruan dockyards. Richard discerns the truth of the letter and assures Kanone there is nothing to worry about before leaving. he heads to the dock where he meets a former member of the Intelligence Division who is still loyal to Richard's vision and demands to know why he left the army and seemingly betrayed his ideals. Richard explains his reasoning and new direction which angers the former subordinate who cannot accept it. the subordinate storms off citing betrayal leaving a deflated Richard. Kanone, who had worked out what was going on, greets Richard in the rain and they walk back together. She manages to lift his spirits.
On the air liner the next day, Richard is about to depart when Sieg arrives with a communique from Cassius Bright requesting Richard pass some information back to him during his travels. Richard seemingly accepts and says to himself that it will come with expenditure, but departs knowing that he is still serving his country with a smile.
