Infernal Castle (煌魔城の探索) is a story quest that occurs during the 종장 "그저 한결같이, 앞으로" in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 II.

배경

The quest is automatically acquired after completing Liberating Karel.

공략

1. In the Infernal Castle, climb to the 1st Stratum for a battle.
2. Continue to the sealed door and strike the nearby switch with a field attack to open it.
3. Continue through the stairs and strike the switch at the end to create a bridge.
4. Cross the bridge and climb to the second area.
5. Head to the end of the path and strike the switch to create a new path.
6. Cross the new path and continue to the end of the 1st Stratum.
7. Enter the next room for a battle.
   • BONUS: Bringing Laura to the 1st Stratum End fight earns her character profile's 3rd note.
8. In the 2nd Stratum, head forward and strike the eye to open the path.
9. Continue north and strike the eye.
10. Head east then south and continue to the exit to the second area.
11. Strike the eye, head to the second area and climb to the end of the 2nd Stratum.
12. Enter the next room for a battle. Fie must be in the party.
13. In the 3rd Stratum, climb the stairs and strike the switch around the sealed door.
14. Defeat the Nosferatu behind the sealed door and continue south.
15. Strike the switch and cross the barriers to the other side.
    • NOTE: The barriers that don't trigger a battle are as follow: left, right, center, center.
16. Strike the switch and climb down the ladder.
17. Strike the switch around the sealed door and defeat the other Nosferatu.
18. Head to the center and climb to the second area.
19. Continue upwards and cross the External Corridor to the other side.
20. Continue to the end of the 3rd Stratum and enter the room for a battle.
21. In the Highest Stratum, continue to the top for a series of five battles.
    • PARTY: The last support member and the reserve members will fight Phase 1 of the Vermillion Apocalypse. The active members and the other support members will fight Phase 2.

• Thanks to everyone's support, we were able to make it into the Infernal Castle.
• It seems like it will take a while longer until Valimar is fully recovered. In the meantime, we'll have to proceed without him.
• Let's get going--both for ourselves and for everyone waiting for us!
• Apparently, the castle we're in now isn't exactly the same as the one that appeared 250 years ago. This isn't going to be easy...
• At the end of the first stratum, we found Bleublanc and Duvalie waiting for us.
• There definitely is some connection between the Steel Maiden and her Stahlritter with the Lance Maiden and her Eisenritter...but for now, the truth remains unknown.
• Duvalie attempted to mock the Arseid school, but Laura maintained her dignity in response, challenging her to a battle to better themselves.
• Duvalie attempted to mock the Arseid school, but I'm sure if Laura were here, she would have happily fought her so that they could better themselves.
• After emerging victorious, Duvalie unleashed her true power in a fury, and Bleublanc seemed to recover as well. The tables were turned on us.
• Fortunately, Toval and Prince Olivert came to our aid. We left everything to them and their powerful arts and hurried on ahead.
• We reached the second stratum. We're going to need to be even more careful than before. Who knows who else is lying in wait to ambush us...?
• The giant door at the end of the second stratum has a symbol of some kind on it. We should probably take Fie with us when we're ready to move on.
• At the end of the second stratum, we found Xeno and Leonidas from Zephyr.
• They told us that it was actually their boss, the Jaeger King, who had asked them to make sure Fie left the corps.
• Xeno and Leo told Fie that if she wanted to know where the other corps members were and what they were doing, she would have to defeat them first and earn those answers herself. Fie demonstrated her own resolve and the battle began, with us almost cornering them.
• Unfortunately, they revealed that they had in fact been holding back. Just as things looked desperate, we were saved by Captain Claire and Sharon, who inherited the battle from us so that we could move forward.
• As we departed, the two jaegers told us that the rest of the corps was working to 'bring back the boss.' The true meaning behind those words is a mystery to all of us...but for now, all we can do is press on through to the third stratum.
• At the end of the third stratum, we found McBurn, one of the strongest members of Ouroboros, waiting for us.
• He wanted to fight Valimar instead of us, but I refused his request, fearing it would mean Valimar wouldn't be at full capacity for the showdown with Crow. As such, we tried to fight him ourselves.
• After the battle, McBurn seemingly transformed into a completely different form--that of the 'Blazing Demon.' We were left powerless in the face of him, a demon that had transcended the limits of humanity.
• Our inevitable defeat was avoided by the arrival of Viscount Arseid. A fierce battle ensued between him and McBurn, and we pressed onward.
• After stepping off the elevator, we realized we were finally on the castle's highest stratum, which leads to a place called the 'Vermillion Throne.' Crow and Vita should be waiting for us there, too. Time to get going!
• We finally reached the elevator that leads to the Vermillion Throne. All that remains is to step onto it and ride it to where the final battle awaits. First, however, we should head back to our base area and make sure everyone is well equipped and ready.
• After riding the elevator, we found Crow, Vita, and Duke Cayenne waiting for us. Crown Prince Cedric was in the room, too.
• Apparently, Duke Cayenne is a descendant of Orthros Reise Arnor, known as the False Emperor. He proclaimed that all he had done was for the purpose of obtaining the Vermillion Knight and Infernal Castle, thus fulfilling the dream of his ancestors.
• We fought Crow and Vita, and afterwards, I boarded Valimar to settle things with Crow.
• We both fought with all our might, but in the end, I was finally able to overcome him. It seemed as if things were finally at an end...but just as the tension had eased, Duke Cayenne used Crown Prince Cedric to revive the 'Vermillion Apocalypse' that had emerged 250 years ago, using the Testa-Rossa as its core.
• The entire country in danger, we fought together with Crow and Vita in order to stop it. Between our combined efforts and after a hard-fought battle using both the Ashen and Azure Knights, we were finally successful in rescuing the Crown Prince.
• However, the price we paid for that victory was great, as Crow lost his life as a result of the battle. I promised I'd take him back to the academy and make him graduate, too...
• Much to our surprise, Rufus appeared, and he and Altina apprehended Duke Cayenne. Vita disappeared soon after, too.
• It turned out that Rufus was actually the primary member of the Ironbloods all along--and his master, the chancellor, was actually still alive. I also found out another truth that was even more shocking... ...but I can't bring myself to commit it to paper.
