Giacomo Conte (ジャコモ·コンテ) is an information broker based in Edith, introduced in 영웅전설 여의 궤적.

Appearance

Giacomo is a portly middle-aged man with short blue hair, brown eyes, visible stubble and circular shades. He wears a brown hunting cap, white shirt with a brown sweater, blue trousers and a long green coat.

Personality

Giacomo is a greedy and lecherous individual who only looks out for himself, having an unsavoury reputation and being known for being dishonest, sly and untrustworthy. He is also described as a real scoundrel.

Background

Giacomo is one of a number of information brokers active in Calvard's capital city, Edith. Giacomo's unethical tactics and personality have meant other information brokers hold him in disregard. The Riverside is known to be one of his usual haunts, and he has hideouts across the city. Giacomo has worked with Van Arkride before, running into the cops but with Giacomo losing out on obtaining an old lady's money.

At some point, Giacomo got his hand son a RAMDA orbment, which he uses to sneak around the city. he kept a blackmail notebook in one of his hideouts with which to threaten figures in the city.

Van tracks down Giacomo for information regarding Agnes Claudel's Oct-Genesis. Giacomo is less than pleased to see Van but dismisses having any information on the item. He invites Agnes to take up business with him but she politely declines. They follow Giacomo into the waterways beneath the city.

Using his RAMDA, he makes it to his hideout and muses over the prospects the genesis might provide him. Two cloaked Almata members reveal themselves, both extremely displeased Giacomo had been misleading them and had tipped off the police. Giacomo begs for mercy but is taken down in cold blood with a cut to his neck. The police noted he was about to give information to them as well.

Others who heard of his death believe he got what he deserved and reaped what he had sown.
