Bermotti is described a young male and has yellow eyes and bright purple hair which is wavy and tied into a side ponytail. He wears a formal white shirt, black trousers with pointy leather shoes along with a burgundy waist apron and a black waistcoat. a matching burgundy bow tie is worn around his neck. Bermotti also wears violet nail polish and has hearts embroidered on his uniform.

Personality

Bermotti is openly friendly and flamboyant. Bermotti describes those he is close with as in a 'special relationship' with himself, such as Van Arkride but he disapproves of those with poor morals such as Giacomo Conte. Bermotti describes men such as Ellroy Harwood, Kasim Al-Fayed and Rene Kincaid as 'just his type' and states he can barely control himself when all three visit his bar.

Bermotti is the owner and bartender of the establishment Bermotti's in the Riverside District of Edith. Bermotti also has lots of 'shady connections' and is well placed as an information broker. He has contacts within the Bracer Guild, CID and states he has friends in the black market and underworld too.

Van consults Bermotti, amongst others, for information on Giacomo and the Oct-Genesis whilst working on Agnes Claudel's case. Bermotti expresses sorrow that van would also talk with otehr informants such as Dingo Brad besides him. Van would continue to visit Bermotti for information throughout the game.

Bermotti keeps his invitation to the Tharbad Film festival secret, intending to surprise Van. Bermotti had been invited to take part in a bartending contest in the Aljumeriah Hotel. He comes to assist the party when some rowdy crowds fluster around Judith Lanster, Nina Fenly and Prince Sherid Asverl. Bermotti helps Van by identifying the plant found by the party and the substance found in the orbal shishas as the same. While in Tharbad, Bermotti requests Van's help locating special ingredients for his cocktail. He helps to secure the parade when it goes out of control at the film festival. Bermotti would go on to win the bartending contest.

Bermotti is the one who recommends Maxim Rogen use Van's services for a 4SPG request. Bermotti mourns Dingo's passing and works with Jack Trevor to obtain information on Almata. In the run-up to revolution Day, Bermotti is amongst the guests invited to the Montmart Bistro for a celebration, and afterwards Van has a conversation with him and Walter Kron back in his own bar. Bermotti is caught up in Pandemonium when it envelops the city, but is kept safe in his bar by the Marduk Company's security forces. He searches for information on the others' whereabouts.
