Mainz Mine is Mainz's second mine, situated in the village itself.

Background
The Mainz Mine is the currently active mine, opened after the Old Mine closed up. Since then, the Mainz Mine has become the lead mine of septium of Zemuria.
By the time the Special Support Section arrives to investigate the monster attacks, the Crossbell Guardian Force has left the area, forcing the miners to close the mine while working. During the night they can ask the Mine Chief for the key to train against the monsters inside, and after solving the case the mine can be freely entered. The abandoned branch of the mine can only be opened after the mayor asks for the SSS's assistance with a monster infestation inside.
