Introduction
The founder of the Eight Leaves One Blade school of swordsmanship, which centers on a Far-Eastern type of saber called a tachi. Also known as the 'Sword Hermit,' he can reportedly see all in the world for how it truly is via the 'Omniscient Eye,' which he acquired upon attaining enlightenment. Since founding the Eight Leaves One Blade school, he has wandered across west Zemuria, seeking out disciples in whom he sees potential and training them to become swordmasters called 'Divine Blades,' Rean Schwarzer being one such example. For reasons unknown to most, he seems to have some deep involvement with both Shizuna, wielder of the cursed tachi Akegarasu, and the Black God One Blade school...[1]
Appearance
Yun is an elderly man with a slender but muscled appearance. He has brown eyes, long gray hair which is tied up and a bushy beard, moustache, and eyebrows. Yun wears traditional eastern clothes, consisting of a loose martial arts uniform in brown and black over a white, knee length hakama and bandages wrapped around his forearms and shins. He also wears flat slippers.
Personality
Yun Ka‑fai is a man of extraordinary skill and a true master swordsman, being the founder of the Eight Leaves One Blade school and a renowned figure in Zemuria. Master Ka‑fai is not only wise and perceptive but also an extremely crafty and calculated individual, seeking out information that enables him to be certain of any decision he would like to make in the future.
According to Teo Schwarzer, Master Ka‑fai loves drinking, enjoys soaking in hot springs, and enjoys eating good food. Notably, he likes to travel by himself a lot, wandering the continent from place to place. He spent thirty years traveling around the western part of the continent after leaving Ikaruga and generally strives to avoid people, never staying in one place for too long.
Master Ka‑fai also seems to like keeping up with the latest trends. When he visits an idol event, he starts acting like an idol otaku, cheering and dancing for the idols.
