Grendel Shaddai (グレンデル＝シャダイ), also known as the Dawn-Bringing White Armored Demon: Grendel Shaddai (夜明け齎す白き魔装鬼 グレンデル＝シャダイ), is a mysterious Shard armament form that resembles a sacred version of Van Arkride's Grendel and the corrupt Grendel Zolga. This form appears during the activation of Laegjarn's Chest.

René Kincaid dons this form after revealing himself to be one of Latoya Hamilton's co-conspirators and battles Van Arkride and company in the ten minutes before the Grand Reset commences. At the battle's climax, Van and co. seem poised to defeat him, only for him to reveal the true power of Grendel Shaddai and easily trounce the party by simultaneously attacking them with multiple versions of himself pulled from slightly different futures.
