The Provincial Armies (州領邦軍) were the four military divisions working under the direct control of the Erebonian Nobles and the Four Great Houses in each of Erebonia's four regions: Lamare, Kreuzen, Sutherland and Nortia.
They were eventually succeeded as an organization by the Unified Regions Army in coincidence with the October Campaign and subsequent Great War.
Background
Each Provincial Army division has its own colour and answers only to the nobility of that region, particularly the whims of the Great House with bureaucratic control of the region. At the head of each Provincial army was a commander, with only three having been seen and only two named, esteemed Aurelia Le Guin and Wallace Bardias. Each army has access to armoured vechicles and transports and later Panzer Soldat units. Most are armed with rifles with bayonets or sabers. The uniform varies only by colour, consisting of an elaborate ceremonial uniform in the colour of that region's army, complete with tassels and epaulettes, and a spiked helmet. Officers wear longer trench coats and wear feathered caps.
- The Lamare Provincial Army, formerly led by Aurelia Le Guin, wears white. They use Juno Naval Fortress as their headquarters.
- The Kreuzen Provincial Army, led by an unnamed male commander, wears royal blue. They use Aurochs Fort as their headquarters.
- The Sutherland Provincial Army, formerly led by Wallace Bardias, wears turquoise. They use Dreknor Fortress as their headquarters.
- The Nortia Provincial Army, with unknown leadership, wears orange. They use Schwarz-Drache as their headquarters.

High ranking generals such as Wallace Bardias and Aurelia Le Guin from the provincial armies, were recruited by Croire de Cayenne into the Noble Alliance. The provincial armies acted increasingly brazen, with the Nortia army confronting agencies like the Railway Military Police and the Kreuzen army even once imprisoning Machias Regnitz, the son of one of the key members of the Reformist faction, Carl Regnitz.

The provincial armies make up the vast majority of the Noble Alliances' forces. Class VII mainly encounter forces from the Kreuzen and Nortia armies, but Rean Schwarzer also faces those from the Lamare region onboard the Pantagruel.
Nortia's army drops out of the October War after Angelica Rogner breaks through with her convictions to her father Gerhart Rogner. Kreuzen similarly drops out after the actions of Helmut Albarea come to light regarding the razing of Celdic and the abduction of Fiona Craig by the commander of the Kreuzen Provincial Army.

As a result of the failed coup by the Noble Alliance, the nobility are greatly diminished in strength. The Provincial armies are later re-structured into a new organization, the Unified Regions Army under the command of Wallace Bardias.
High ranking and elite soldiers of the Provincial Armies are later invited to join the Weissland Army, taking the Pantagruel as their flagship once again.
