O Father, Where Art Thou? (生き別れの父の捜索) is an optional support request that occurs during 제4장 "운명의 크로스벨" in 영웅전설 벽의 궤적.
Background
The quest is available on the first day of Chapter 4 (after completing The Raid of Crossbell City).
The quest expires after defeating Torso Z in the Geofront C Sector during Support Requests.
Walkthrough
- Head to East Street and speak with Armand and Ellie inside Long Lao Tavern & Inn.
- Head to the Downtown District and examine the door to Gable's apartment in Lotus Heights.
- Head to West Street and speak with Old Man Levick on the first floor of Villa Raisins.
- Travel to Armorica Village and examine the door to the shed next to the village chief's house.
- Speak with Gofan in the Ash Tree Inn, then speak with Chief Tolta in the chief's house.
Notebook
- Armand asked us to help find his father, whom he hasn't seen since he was a child.
- Judging by his story, Armand's father is likely Gable, the former diet member. Let's start by visiting his apartment in the Downtown District.
- According to Tantz, Gable left shortly before Armand and Ellie's visit.
- He told us that we could find someone who helped Gable during his diet days on West Street. They live in a building called 'Villa-something' or other... Let's head over and look around.
- Apparently, Gable came to Villa Raisins to ask Levick for advice on where to find a good hiding spot.
- Levick says we should be able to find Gable in Armorica Village. Let's make our way over there immediately.
- Arrived in Armorica Village. Let's start looking around for the places Gable might be hiding. We should try asking the villagers as well.
- The shed is locked, but there are signs that someone is inside.
- Gable is not currently staying at the inn.
- Let's speak with the village chief and see if he knows where Gable might be.
- Explained the situation to the village chief and asked him to open the shed so we could speak with Gable directly.
- Gable thinks that Armand hates him and is hiding because he doesn't want his son to see what he's become.
- Spoke to Gable about our encounter with Armand and convinced him to meet with his son.
- Called Armand and Ellie to Armorica Village, and the father-son reunion finally became a reality. It seems the couple wants him to come visit them in Liberl someday.
