- Received a call from Fran on Mainz Mountain Path. There's been a train accident off West Crossbell Highway.
- Given the circumstances, we can assume that this was no a simple accident. Let's make our way to the scene.
- Arrived at the site of the accident. The CGF wanted to begin clearing the scene immediately, but after discussing the matter, we decided that a crime scene investigation should take place first.
- Let's begin immediately.
- The front of the train is less damaged than expected. The train must not have run into anything head-on, which means...
- There's a large dent in the upper-right-hand side of the locomotive. It's rather high up and seems to be covered in scratch marks...
- Interviewed the conductor. He was on the comms system right before the incident when the engineer suddenly yelled, 'What IS that?!'
- Shortly after, the locomotive derailed, and the other cars followed suit.
- Whatever the engineer saw was shocking enough to make him scream. Just what could it have been...?
- There are deep gouges in the cliff face to the left of the train. Streaks of blue paint have been left behind, as well.
- The train appears to have collided with the cliff, but I suspect there's more to this than it seems.
- Finished our investigation. Now to unpack the events that led to the incident.
- Based on the evidence, it's unlikely that the train simply derailed on its own. Something else is responsible.
- Whether this unknown culprit is a cryptid, or something else entirely, I can't say for sure...
- Suddenly, we heard an ominous roar that echoed through the canyon. It's coming from the west. We need to head that way and find whatever caused it!
- It sounds like something to the south just got destroyed. Let's move!
- The gate leading to the police academy was destroyed despite being made from a special alloy. Whatever did this is very strong. Let's continue down Knox Forest Road!
- The unknown monster appears to have entered the survival training grounds.
- The area ahead is dangerous. We need to be sure we're ready before continuing!
- Pleroma Grass was blooming in the forest. It probably appeared only recently... We need to proceed with caution.
- Encountered a strange monster in the forest. It was Wald Wales, who had demonized via Gnosis...
- After the battle, we attempted to pursue Wald, but he escaped. Where and how did he get his hands on Gnosis?
- Questioned the Saber Vipers the following day, but didn't learn much.
- The gang said that Wald didn't come around much anymore, and nobody has seen him.
- The aftermath of the train derailment was cleared and repaired by morning.
- Michel called us and said he hasn't been able to contact Lynn or Aeolia since last night.
- He told us to get in touch if we ran into either of them. I'm worried... We should drop by the Bracer Guild when we have time.
