카렐 별궁 해방 작전 (カレル離宮解放作戦) is a story quest that occurs during the 종장 "그저 한결같이, 앞으로" in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 II.
배경
The quest is automatically acquired on 12/31, after completing Celebration.
공략
- Check all requests.
- Speak with Towa and choose "Commence Operation".
- PARTY: Machias must be in the party for the operation.
- NOTE: After beginning the operation Erebonia will be unavailable for the rest of the game.
- At the Karel Imperial Villa, climb up the hill for a battle.
- Continue to the Villa's entrance for a battle.
- Enter the Villa for a battle.
- Head north to the outside pavilion and open the monster chest to obtain
Goldia Key. - Return inside, head south and climb the stairs for a battle.
- Open the door and head to the 3rd floor.
- Continue for a battle.
- Approach the door to the Great Hall for a battle.
- Enter the Great Hall for a battle.

- 12/31 (Fri) 1204's Final Day
- Valimar's new tachi is finally complete. With it, I might finally stand a chance against Crow.
- We seem to have some time to fly around before the operation begins. There are a few requests to work through, too--if we want to do them, it's now or never. I don't want to go into this operation with regrets.
- As soon as we're ready, we'll head for Karel Imperial Villa via the Courageous.
- The 3rd and 4th Armored Divisions made their move on the capital, marking the beginning of the final battle against the Noble Alliance.
- Taking advantage of that, we landed the Courageous at Karel Imperial Villa. The second years and Group B are taking care of the company of Imperial Guardsmen, which leaves us free to hurry to the villa and rescue everyone. Let's go!
- We entered the villa, only to find military monsters roaming around. We need to head to the ceremonial room on the third floor!
- We arrived in the ceremonial area, where we found all of the captives.
- However, Altina and Claiomh Solais stood between us and them, and we were forced to fight. She seems to be a sister of sorts to Millium, too...
- By defeating her, we were able to rescue the captives, and I was reunited with my sister once again.
- While we did rescue His Majesty, Empress Priscilla, and Governor Regnitz, Crown Prince Cedric was nowhere to be seen. Altina mentioned that he's been taken to the palace for some sort of ritual.
- All of a sudden, we heard the sound of Vita Clotilde's voice resounding from far away. As a result of the forbidden song Emma called Lucifen Lied, Valflame Palace was transformed into a monstrous-looking place called the Infernal Castle, a building that also happened to appear 250 years ago.
- We left everything at the villa to Captain Claire and Governor Regnitz and hurried to the Infernal Castle.
- As we were about to depart, we were presented with the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Phoenix Wings by His Majesty, an honor given only once every few years. He also wished us well in the challenges ahead. (If the three medals of the Order of the Phoenix Wings were obtained)
