제국의 동란 (帝国の動乱) is a story quest that occurs during the 종장 "사관학원제, 그리고──" in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적.

배경

The quest is automatically acquired on 10/30, after completing Academy Festival - Day 2.

공략

1. Speak with the following people:
   • Millium in the Floor 7 Depths of the Old Schoolhouse.
   • George in the Engineering Building.
   • Towa in the Student Council Room on the Student Union's 2nd floor.
2. Exit the academy and head to the Class VII Dormitory for a scene.
3. Enter Crow's room for a scene.
4. Return to the academy for a scene.
5. Examine the academy's gate and leave for the final series of battles.

10/30 (Sat) Thors Military Academy

• The annihilation of Garrelia Fortress resulted in tensions across the Empire growing worse than ever before, and when they were at their peak, we heard that Chancellor Osborne would be giving an address at noon in Heimdallr.
• We were also informed that the day's lessons had all been canceled, so we decided to listen to the statement together on the radio in the classroom.
• We had some free time, however, so we decided to go our separate ways until then. I'd better see if I can find Millium and Crow. I decided to ask people on campus if they'd seen them.
• Towa said that she met Crow yesterday but had no idea where he could be.
• George didn't know where Crow was, either. Apparently, Crow talked to him yesterday to return a number of things he'd borrowed from him.
• I noticed that the old schoolhouse door was unlocked and decided to check inside.
• I found Millium on the seventh floor. She wanted to take another look at the ashen knight.
• She told me investigating the old schoolhouse was one of her designated tasks. I wonder what Chancellor Osborne knows about this place...
• After we talked for a while, she agreed to come back to the classroom with me.
• I couldn't find Crow on campus, so I'd assumed he'd gone into town.
• I went into Trista to look for Crow. Asking Sharon if she knew anything seemed like as good a place to start as any.
• We asked Sharon about Crow, and she told us that he returned to the dormitory very briefly before going out again.
• I thought I'd check his room, just in case. It's right across from my own.
• It looked like Crow was gone.
• I tried to think if there was anything I'd overlooked as I walked back to the academy.
• It suddenly hit me that I hadn't checked the station. I ran over to take a quick look. (Optional)
• One of the station employees told me that she thought she saw Crow about an hour ago, but she wasn't completely sure. (Optional)
• At that point, I had to abandon my search for Crow so I could get back in time to hear the chancellor's address. (Optional)
• On my way back to the academy, I ran into Patrick.
• He told me that he saw Crow earlier, and that he mentioned that he was heading to Heimdallr to hear the chancellor's address in person.
• At noon, the chancellor prepared to speak, with Misty providing commentary. Emma seemed shocked to hear her voice for some reason...
• Chancellor Osborne began his address, discussing the tensions with Crossbell over the past few days. It was all going the way that we'd expected it to.
• During the statement, Millium revealed that one of the reasons she was sent to the academy was to investigate C, who we all believed to be dead.
• Thinking over all that had happened over the past few months, however, it started to seem more and more horrifically plausible that C truly was Crow.
• As the chancellor's speech reached its climax, the sound of a single gunshot filled the air--a sniper had shot Chancellor Osborne.
• We could hear the confused cries of the people of Heimdallr through the radio, and then in the midst of it all, Misty--Vita Clotilde--began to sing. As she did, a strange image appeared before us, showing Dreichels Plaza in Heimdallr.
• Before our eyes, a giant battleship belonging to the Noble Faction soared through the skies of Heimdallr and dropped 'Panzer Soldats' to the ground, which overtook the streets of the capital and the Imperial palace in the blink of an eye. We were almost even more surprised to see members of Zephyr, which Fie used to be a part of, there, too.
• Then we saw Captain Claire hold Crow at gunpoint, but he escaped by boarding what looked like a blue machine of some kind.
• The reason we were able to see the events happening in Heimdallr was a strange spell of Vita's called 'Phantasmagoria.' Even more surprising was the revelation that she was related to Emma somehow, and was feared as the Witch of the Abyss.
• After telling us all to stay in the building, Instructor Sara left the classroom.
• It turned out Heimdallr wasn't the only place being targeted by the Soldats--a number of them were approaching Trista as well, accompanied by a fleet of armored cars.
• We reached the front gate only to find crowds of people from Trista flooding into the academy for safety.
• We received permission from Towa and George to go and help the instructors...so we started to do exactly that.
• As soon as we've finished our preparations, we're heading straight through that gate toward whatever fate awaits us out there. We're not going to back down, no matter what. I don't care if I have to fight till my last breath--no one's going to lay so much as a finger on our academy!
